ʘ       The most common reason for rejecting a job, visa or any other applications is a badly shot self portrait.



ʘ       The story behind the name ‘Kodak’ is that the letter ‘K’ was the favourite letter of George Eastman, the founder and inventor of  Eastman Kodak Company. 



George and his mother devised the word ‘Kodak’ from a series of jumbled alphabets.

ʘ       The name the painting is most recognized by is Mona Lisa but that only came about because of a spelling error!




 The original name of the painting was Monna Lisa. Monna, in Italian, was a common Italian shortening of Madonna, meaning "my lady."


ʘ       The inventors of Kodachrome (a color reversal film),  Leopold Mannes and Leopold Godowsky were both accomplished musicians.



ʘ       The U.S. Government will not allow portraits of living persons to appear on stamps.
